1. Experience and legal ability
Experience and legal ability go hand in hand. Look for a law firm that has been around for 5+ years and has completed substantial trial work. Do they know what they’re talking about? Review their website and take some time to evaluate the background and credentials of the attorneys to determine if they are experts in their area of law.
